The 3rd High School Robot System Integration Competition has started, and our IDEC Factory Solutions supports Aichi Prefectural Ichinomiya Kichi Technical High School

A competition for high school students nationwide held by Aichi Prefecture in collaboration with the Japan Robot System Integrators Association and others with the aim of creating human resources for robot system integrators (commonly known as "robot system integrators") who are responsible for automating manufacturing sites. This is the "High School Student Robot System Integration Competition."

The third session has started. The members of the 17 participating schools selected this time participated in various seminars to learn about robot system integration, received guidance and advice from robot system integration companies, and prepared for the December conference. Over the course of a month, participants will work on competitive tasks that involve automating manufacturing.

This is the third time that our company, IDEC Factory Solutions Co., Ltd., has been selected as a support company for Aichi Prefectural Ichinomiya Technical High School. We will provide support until the day of the conference, from checking the operation of the robot system to transporting and installing the robot system to high schools and competitions.

last month4In April, we completed a meet-and-greet with participating members from Ichinomiya Kichi Technical High School, and officially started the initiative. Currently, a set of collaborative robots delivered by the manufacturer is being adjusted in preparation for transport to Ichinomiya Kiku Technical High School.

We will do our best to support you so that you can achieve your best performance until the day of the competition in February. We hope everyone is looking forward to the competition.

<Significance of our company supporting the high school robot system integration competition>

Although the robot industry is a growing industry, it cannot be denied that there will be a shortage of engineers responsible for system integration in the future due to various factors such as the declining birthrate, aging population, and decline in the working-age population.

As a robot system integrator, we have been responsible for the automation of many manufacturing sites, so the lack of human resources is by no means someone else's problem, and the training of human resources who will be responsible for automation in the future is significant as it will lead to the revitalization of the entire industry. I fully support this initiative.

Our company has been involved since the first preparation stage, providing support for the system integration of participating high schools, and as a supporting company, we provide a variety of safety equipment such as IDEC safety light curtains and safety switches with solenoids.

In addition, Okada from our Safety Promotion Office is in charge of safety evaluation and participates in risk assessment courses, reviewing documents of risk assessment content from all participating schools, checking the actual system at the venue, and providing support such as providing direct feedback to students. .
