As ROKAE's domestic distributor in Japan, IDEC Factory Solutions conducted site visits to their manufacturing facilities and large-scale installation sites in China to reaffirm the company's true value.
During this inspection, although it was in the Chinese market, we got to the heart of why Tier 1 companies in the automotive industry have chosen ROKAE as the "optimal solution for automation" from among many options and are using it.

The most noteworthy aspect of this inspection is the operational status of the factory of Cummins, a Tier 1 supplier that is a world leader in truck transmissions and also supplies Mercedes-Benz.
This factory is a state-of-the-art facility boasting standards exceeding those in Japan, with the implementation of MES (Manufacturing Execution System), thorough traceability management, and impeccable organization. In this demanding environment, approximately 30 ROKAE robots handle core processes such as assembly, deburring, spot welding, and inspection.
The local production technology leader cited the outstanding balance of performance and cost as the deciding factor in adopting ROKAE. Remarkably, the company recouped this advanced automation investment in just two years. This demonstrates that ROKAE functions as the optimal solution for generating tangible profits in a global company with rigorous investment decision-making processes.
■ Accelerating supply chain and development capabilities for the next generation
At ROKAE's headquarters production site, I was able to experience firsthand their momentum and stable supply capabilities. In 2025, ROKAE shipped approximately 13,000 robots in total across all models. Furthermore, they are projected to secure orders approaching 30,000 units in 2026.
Furthermore, we have secured a massive order from China's No. 1 humanoid robot manufacturer, representing approximately ten times the amount ordered in 2026 compared to the previous year, and our factory is operating at full capacity with an increased workforce.
Another strength of the company is its development speed, which allows it to immediately translate user feedback into tangible results.
- Increased payload capacity: In addition to the current 5kg payload capacity, development of a 10kg payload arm for the "AR series" of arms for humanoid robots is in its final stages, enabling the handling of 20kg with both hands.
- Rapid product development: Our Beijing development center brings together many talented young engineers, and we have a system in place to bring new needs to market in a short period of time, approximately one year.
