Introduction Background

System integrator D was asked by a retail company to build a system that uses a robot to pick up workpieces coming off a conveyor.
Due to space limitations, it was not possible to install a safety fence, so they decided to use a collaborative robot. Although they carried out their own risk assessment, they still had concerns about collisions with people, which led them to consult with us.
In order to confirm whether the collision force is within the allowable range, it is necessary to conduct a collision force measurement test, so we proposed to carry this out.
