Working in the absence of light
Is it too bright? Is it too dark?Reflections and shadows?Ambient lighting can confuse the visual settings of a 2D robot, but Pickit is fine.
The Pickit camera uses structured lights to calculate 3D images.Structured light is the process of projecting a known pattern onto a scene. The way this pattern transforms allows Pickit to calculate the depth and surface information of the product to be picked.
The advantage is that the Pickit camera can see your product without extra light. It can work even in the dark.
In short, Pickit can see and detect black products in black containers, white products in white containers, and even reflective metal parts.
